Always watch out for the pickup truck.
Every time it’s not apparent what is going to happen, just look for the pickup in the frame, and 900% of the time, that’s the vehicle which will be crashing. It’s not even always the truck driver’s fault - but somehow, as if by a curse, the crash will involve the truck.
It gets way harder to guess who will crash when no trucks are present.
But in that case it’s usually the closest thing to a truck present.

Actually it goes (in order of propensity to be involved in a carsh) Prius, Camry, truck, other Toyotas, BMW’s, everyone else.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a prius crash in a video.

They are usually out of frame somewhere in the passing lane going 20 under the speed limit. Any time you suddenly see a vehicle shoot across frame its becasue they were swerving to avoid the prius.

I’ve oddly never seen a Prius that wasn’t speeding either. Sort of defeats the point of the car, but whatever. I guess it’s like drinking diet sodas and telling yourself you’re losing weight.

Above all else, look for Florida plates. If there is a cluster of Florida plates while driving in a another state, be advised your best option is to hit the shoulder and wait for the danger to pass. If you find yourself surrounded by Florida plates while in Florida, call you family, tell them you had a good run, and not to give all your stuff to your unappreciative inlaws

lol really. you should come out here. I had a prius driver doing 40 in the passing lane of a 2 lane highway where the speed limit is 75

Most of the Priuses I see in greater Seattle fall into one of two categories: (1) The driver is driving like a maniac. (2) The driver is standing his car illegally in a through traffic lane.

Oh nonsense, I’ve been driving in Florida for over four decades and I’m perfectly safe.
